Todays (13/10/15) A-380 into Manchester

It's been beautiful here today and I noticed that they were swinging in from my end (05) again. Had a look on FR24 and followed her up from the Channel expecting to get some good shots in the near perfect light !!

But I persisted and just as she was at her nearest to me there was a little break in the cloud.

Relatively rare to see shots other than on the ground, on short final or just after take-off, so always interesting to see your shots from further out.

Very nice indeed. I'm a bit jealous, we don't have anything that big flying near me. (Well, unless you count a once weekly for about 6 weeks 747 )

OH has promised me a spotting trip to Manchester for my birthday so really looking forward to seeing some "different" stuff there!

I'm not this lucky everyday, normally if they're running from the 05 end and over here (Possibly 20-30 days a year) you can guarantee low cloud !
