Almost like Spring at Manchester today 8th Feb

Hi Guys n Gals,

well it was my day off today and the wether forecast looked pretty good, so I sauntered down to Ringway (sorry Manchester Airport) to grab a few landing shots.

Nothing special but just nice to soak up a bit of sun.

We'll start off early in the morning with a Conti 757. Early as you can see with the sun and shadows in the fuselage.

Image

Quickly followed by this little BA beastie.

Image

I looked up and noticed this most unusual con trail!

Image

Next it was the turn of a couple of ATR's.

Image

Image

Then a BMI mini bus.

Image

A SAS 737.

Image

Then a smart Libyan mini bus.

Image

A Brussels RJ.

Image

A BA 321.

Image

A PIA 777.

Image

And finishing with an Easy mini bus.

Image

Oh I grabbed a German biz as well but thats' in the correct section!

Regards

Reggie

Well thank you chaps.

The contrail was a right surprise! A large airliner had flown over a few minutes before and as I saw the contrail fade away it just changed shape. Most odd.

I musy admit that the images look well soft when compared with the originals, looks like Photobucket's at it again!

Hi Matey,

it sure is.

Still bloody cold standing around waiting for the sun to come up but, when it did, it really did!

Hi Mach One,

the location is in the car park of the Tatton Arms.

See link for info and click on the 'show map' option.

Hi Drew,

I must admit that the PIA colours are a vast improvement.

And, as for the blue sky, I was being quite accurate with my shooting, trying to exclude what bit's of cloud there was. It was a lovely day. Back to the rain again this morning!

Regards

Reggie
