There is also an ex Spanair DC7C in poor condition on display outside alongside the main road but this is a GA forum so I won't show it here. After the visit to the ramp, where I was completely left alone with no challenge at all !, the missus and I retired to the adjacent Aero Club restaurant where we had an excellent meal. The Aero Club also has a large pool alongside the restaurant which it looked like you could use provided you ate and/or drank there. Recommended visit. On site facilities include skydiving, pleasure flights both fixed wing and helicopter and flying lessons.
Next door and running alongside the runway is a medium sized motorcycle race track which seems to be used most weekends and over the road is a large Go-Kart track with rental Karts.
