In the same vein as the Boeing and Airbus types threads, I thought why not have one for 737 variants -100 to -900. Couldn't find a -100 in my collection but managed all the rest.

Please don't ask me which marks these are as I have no idea. All were taken pre-1979; LHR and GTW are 1977-8 and Kai Tak are 1976-7. Royal Brunei, Malaysian Airline System, Air Nauru, China Airlines all at Kai Tak. Sabena and Aer Lingus at LHR, Britannia at GTW.

Love the old Britannia 737. Brings back childhood memories of spotting at Luton.

This is C-GIPW, a 737-200, formerly of Pacific Western and now in the collection of the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I took these pictures at the now closed Edmonton Municipal Airport in early summer of 2012. With the closure of the airport, this aircraft received a temporary flying permit for it to be ferried a short distance to a nearby airport where the museum has their restoration facilities.

Lets go 200-900. Tried to pick the most unusual locations for each, got more shots of 800 series than all my other 737s combined!

The 737 is one of my favourites

My two worst moments (aviation wise) have involved the 737

January 8, 1989 when driving the truck up the M1 at Kegworth I actually watched the BMI 737 (G-OBME) come down infront of me....the sights and smells of that night will never leave me for as long as I live

And 3 years ago aboard a KLM 737, took off from Manchester to Schiphol. Dry day but very heavy cloud cover and as we climbed through the cloud and almighty bang and a flash.....pilot came over the intercom to reassure us that we had been struck by lightening but would continue to Schiphol as planned apart from at a lower altitude. Arrived at Schiphol minus a winglet and a very badly scorched wingtip
