Hi - new to the forum

Hi All
Just a few words of introduction. I have been spotting since the mid seventies on and off and have a general interest in everything with civil airliners being my main interest.
I have been out of the spotting game for a few years apart from the odd little trip to Gatwick/Heathrow when off to visit relatives on the south coast and what I have observed OTT from home or our caravan on the east coast at Flamborough.
I think it’s fair to say that on just starting to take a more active interest again there have been some considerable changes in the aviation world since I last paid a lot of attention. So it will take me a while to get back up to speed.
My local airport is DSA and I am under the main east-west flight path from Otteringham to Wallasey so will have the chance to keep an eye on the OTT stuff again. I also have views of very long finals for LBA for flights from Europe and the south from the lounge window. Not as busy up here unfortunately as it was when I was working down south between 1983 and 2002 with LGW, LHR and the other local fields too much of a temptation to miss for much more than a day or so.
I will put up what I can when I can in terms of logs and pics etc.
A great forum by the looks of things and I look forward to playing my part in it.
