Pistons at the ready!- North Weald and Duxford 2nd June

Went to North Weald for the Dak departures to France and then on up to Duxford to get the Flying Bulls DC-6 at the air-show. All in lovely June sunshine.

very nice Denis, I only did the Duxford part, the Red Bull Dc-6 is a superbly turned out aircraft.
Were you in the Brewer's Filed opposite the school? The anfles look similar to mine

Hi Andy,
No I was on the other side of the airfield on the road between Chrishall Grange and the A505. Positioned myself there to get the DC-6 coming back from the Midlands Air Festival.

Ah, I have been there in the past and it's quite a good spot but seem to remember that parking was a bit limited

There was quite a good crowd down there, with cars parked all down the grass verge of that road on the day.
