I spent last Wednesday at Heathrow in cold but mostly sunny conditions with wintry light. Itt clouded up around midday but not for long so had a good six hour spell, here's a selection of my photos....

the Airbus 220s are becoming a more common sight, I do like the new ITA scheme..

and not so long ago there were predictions that the A380 was on the decline but we saw several from 5 different airlines,

and almost the final shot of the day after the airport had made the 3 o'clock switch to 27R arrivals, there was so little haze that I still managed this from the football ground where I had been all day - won't manage that in the summer! I was surprised that I only needed a 380mm focal length for that one.

These shots brought in some much needed sunshine today Andy...hard to believe that lady stood on that tower, to advertise on the colourful A380 shot...
