Some real treats you caught on that trip.
Why the rear looking angle in all your shots if I may ask?

Thanks very much

The main reason was because the light only really reflected off of them at that point (it was dull at times) and I just wanted abit of a different angle instead of the usual side on shots I normally go for.

I'm assuming that was at Myrtle Avenue in which case you are very right about the light there. A motor drive sequence of shots from when they come into view to when they drop below the fence line reveals a very wide range of exposure and lighting. A favourite game of mine is get the light just right on the iridescent BMI lettering and SAS lettering. That really brings an image to life. BMI might be as common as muck at Heathrow but I love their full colour scheme.

Funny you should mention that! I always try to do the same thing with the BMI titles!

BMI is one of my favourite airlines (I did work experience with them when I was 15yrs old, 11yrs ago)
I agree that the light can change dramatically at Myrtle Avenue (which is indeed where I was)

But they are a pain to focus on.
It's a pity we didn't know you Beech19a, as I could have said hello. I was stood at the other end of the Green and you were probably stood next to my mate. I've been told that that Turk A319 was Turkish Air Force.

I'll have to check though.

Yeah, I think the Turkish leader went past with a police escort shortly after the A319 landed.
