I took delivery of a 'new' second hand lens yesterday after my Canon 100-400 got b8ggered by a heavy rainstorm a couple of months back (it almost had goldfish swimming in it so much water got in and although I spent several days drying it out without turning it on it caused terminal damage to the IS ultrasonic motor (ultrasonic not underwater I learnt ). I actually got a Canon 70-300L which I hope will give me a better range of coverage especially at 2 regular venues.
I went over to Andrewsfield to try it out over it's full range and was very pleased with it, here are a few example photos....
