A trip from Manchester to Aberdeen.
The weather was a bit windy and grubby in the morning but then cleared in the afternoon.
Thanks to Trevor and Richard for the company and a great day out.

Please be aware that you DO need permission when taking photographs at Aberdeen Airport. Check their website.
Initially we were pulled up by security and a few minutes later the BIB arrived taking personal details.
Even after 71 years there's a first time for anything!!

Regards.

Excellent shots, never had any issue with the Police at Aberdeen and can't see any details on the web site if you can give any pointers that would be very useful

This extract is taken from the Media Centre tab which is at the bottom of the airport home page.

Location filming

Filming at busy international airports provides logistical and security challenges which means that whilst we will be accommodating, sometimes it will simply not be possible to facilitate non-essential filming and photography requests.

All filming and photography within the airport requires a permit. Generally, a request must be made at least two working days before the required date. Security will remove anyone filming and photographing without this permission.

News coverage (non-commercial) purposes: Before coming to the airport you must contact our media centre for permission.

Commercial filming/photography: At present, Aberdeen Airport cannot accommodate commercial filming. However, please visit our YouTube channel for footage of our airport.

Regards

PeteW.
