Today I was out at my local to see my girlfriend off on a short holiday to Greece. Quite a few direct flights to Balkan and Mediterranean holiday spots go from Brno in the summer months.

She flew out on SX-ORG, an A320 that has been in the Smartwings fleet since May of this year and carries a mix of livery elements from Smartwings and its former operator, Orange2fly:




OK-SLN, an Embraer EMB-135BJ, left a little while after. The aircraft belongs to Prague based ABS Jets:




Those were the biggest things to move while I was there through the noon period. On the light aircraft side of things, this Socata MS-893 Rallye was a welcome change from the predictable Cessnas bouncing about the circuit:

I don't get out to my local as much as I'd like. Some interesting stuff comes in, but rarely when I'm there.

I've seen the Ruby Star Antonov An-12s and the Honeywell B757 heading in or out over town, but I've yet to be at the airport when they are actually there. I'd love to get some shots of them taxiing around.
