A new addition arrived yesterday (20-01) to join the colourful line of stored aircraft at EIDW.

You'd need sunglasses to look at that lot on a sunny day!

Cracking lineup.

Hi

I am looking to get a cheap flight over to DUB to bag this lot :-) Not knowing the airport, is it possible to see these without hiring a car and getting around the perimeters ?

Sunny Days? - Oh yes I think I can just about remember what they are like. I think we had one last May, didn't last though.

As far as spotting at EIDW, if you're fit an healthy it's possible to walk the boundary, about 6 miles I think. You will be able to log everything at the field from somewhere. The alternative is to take the airport bus to the long-term car parks at the back of the airport, that will shorten your walk somewhat.

There are many aviation sites that will give you more info on this topic.

(PS - A6-HMS has since left)
