Birmingham Airport with AN-12 31st Jan 2025

Just a handful of pics from me, I was working a Young Voices trip to the NEC Birmingham on Friday 31st Jan, so being parked up for 8 hours meant I could stroll over to the monorail and walk over to the viewing point at the car park, bought the camera along and notepad mostly with the intention just to get some registrations whilst I'm here, and getting there at 14:00 meant there was only and hour or so window for photos anyway before it started getting dark.

It was an awful day anyway and they were coming in on 33 so I haven't been there when they've come in that end, and it's not that good as the top of the fence gets in the way, should have bought the big lens really! Managed to crop the top of the fence out on some shots but they aren't that great, mostly due to cloudy dark conditions, but highlight was the Cavok AN-12 coming in which I didn't even expect, I didn't look on FR24 at all to see what was due, was only there expecting the usual traffic, so that was a bonus!
