Stansted aerozone planewatch meet 31-07-2023

Our monthly meet up was on a monday this time to try to give us a bit of variety, it also started at 8am to beat the heat haze - which turned out to be unnecessary in the unseasonal gloom.
I was only there for the first two hours due to grandchildren entertainment duties but managed a fair few pics and heres a selection:

this took off on the short hop to Lasham, at 32 years old it can't have much longer left and there was some speculation as to whether that was it's final flight (it's just left so the speculation was incorrect):

Brilliant pics/aircraft - I'm staying at STN for two nights later in the month & looking forward to seeing some quality machines (compared to the regulars here at Guernsey).

Great selection Andy, especially as you were only there for the first two hours. Thanks for the update on 9H-MAC. A 32 year old (ex Aer Lingus) 737-500 departing for Lasham didn't bode well for its future!
