Heathrow

Post by JezM » Fri Dec 22, 2023 1:03 pm

I'm escaping Guernsey & spending the long xmas weekend in a runway view room at London Heathrow again this year & thought in advance of my arrival tomorrow I'd post a few old shots from Heathrow past. Seasons Greetings to all Civilian Aviation posters & viewers :)

All great Jez but expecially the two tri-jets and the Swissair Jumbo. Have a great Christmas.

Brings back memories. I used to go down from Northolt on my afternoons off and spend time on the viewing terrace which was on 'Queens Building' ? Spent some time working out of a portacabin at Fields when our runway was closed for resurfacing and we operated the 32 Squadron HS125s from LHR.
