Don't apologise for the quality - these are excellent shots.
I saw most of the Sterling Caravelle fleet at Edinburgh, not to mention most of their DC6s before they got rid of them. That certainly wasn't yesterday!

Hi Mike,
SOMEWHERE in my archive I've a picture of OY-BAU, a Sterling DC-6 at Turnhouse. It was one of the first pictures I took with my Brownie 127
I'll try and find it. I guess it would have been about 1966/67

Comet nose built under licence ... Trident pod engine stubs were Caravelle design , built under licence by dH [ plate on them said so ]
