superb pics and super memories Dennis, thanks for posting them.

I remember seeing some of those at Southend myself in the late '90s, seemed to be a 707 graveyard at times although most did manage to escape in the end. I remember the Azerbaijan one sitting there for ages and I wondered what happened to it.

They are excellent quality - far better than mine which seem to have deteriorated somewhat, you must have stored them very carefully.

This is one of the good things about winter-time, it seems that a lot of us get out the scanner and continue going through our collections when there's naff all on the TV. We're already seeing lots of good ones this autumn. Maybe we should have a special comp for scanned photos/slides from the pre-digital age in the spring!
