Don't apologise for the quality - these are excellent shots. :)
I saw most of the Sterling Caravelle fleet at Edinburgh, not to mention most of their DC6s before they got rid of them. That certainly wasn't yesterday! :lol:

Hi Mike,

SOMEWHERE in my archive I've a picture of OY-BAU, a Sterling DC-6 at Turnhouse. It was one of the first pictures I took with my Brownie 127

I'll try and find it. I guess it would have been about 1966/67

Comet nose built under licence ... Trident pod engine stubs were Caravelle design , built under licence by dH [ plate on them said so ]
