Airfix 1:144 Iberia 727

Post by jonf45 » Mon Oct 07, 2024 4:59 pm

Hi,

Just completed this 1982 Airfix 1:144 Boeing 727-200.  The old decals didn't look too healthy so I decide to finish it as Iberias' 727-256(ADV) EC-CID "Malaga", circa 1988. Used Halfords rattle can whites for primer and body, Mr Color Acrylics for the wings. Not sure about the wing colours, but every photo I found looked different, so itll have to do!!

Decals were from 26Decals, went on really nicely, the only issues being my sheet didn't have the overwing escape decals though so used the original ones. Its (obviously!) an old kit but went together well enough, a bit of filling and sanding, and the engines were a bit of a sod, but again, itll do!!
