This month's subject is an aircraft undergoing re-furbishment, maintenance or servicing and must at least have panels removed - but panels removed does NOT mean an aircraft in the process of scrapping

Please note that all entries must be civil registered at the time of the photo but may be preserved, inactive or withdrawn from use.

A2-ACA Lockheed Hercules Air Botswana Cargo having some routine maintenance at Blackpool Airport on 30 June 1984. This aircraft was one of a number of regular weekend cargo aircraft visitors at this time, being used to carry Sunday newspapers to Northern Ireland late on Saturday evenings, the papers having been printed in Manchester and transported by road to Blackpool Airport (pre digital era).
