SPOTM February 2025, Irish registered airliners

Post by andygolfer » Sat Feb 15, 2025 5:45 pm

This month's subject is any airliner registered in Ireland (i.e. EI-***) lots of leasing companies use EI- prefixes so there should be plenty of choice for this one.

Please note that all entries must be civil registered at the time of the photo but may be preserved, inactive or withdrawn from use.

This is a link to the full competition rules :- viewtopic.php?f=237&t=51350

Entries will close at 23.59 on 7th March 2025

If you have a question please PM me.

an old one from me!
Tristar EI-COL of Aer Turas at Southend in late August 1998. It arrived for post lease storage on 21st August and still holds the record for being the largest aircraft to land at Southend. Sadly it never took off again and was scrapped at the airport in March 1999.

Plenty EI registered helicopters, but extremely few airliners, so here is the best I can do, scanned from my 6" x 4" wet film print.
