Fairoaks
Hi, After my trip to Heathrow (see the photos in the Airliners section), I stopped at Fairoaks on my way home. G-PCOP was one of the larger aircraft present:- https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7318/16538844385_13d6344577_z.jpg G-PCOP by IndiaEcho Photography , on Flickr There are often several interest...

Heathrow
Hi, Last week I made my first trip out of the year, and had an enjoyable day at an interesting Heathrow. I hadn't been there for long when I heard Air New Zealand call up on the radio - a pity ZK-OKM wasn't one of the special liveried aircraft, but still worth firing a shot off for:- https://farm8.s...

Isle of Skye
Hi, Back in the summer I spoent a week on the Isle of Skye. I went by the deserted Broadford Airfield on the island most days I was there, but on my last evening I found two vistors. D-ELXC was a long way from home:- https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8608/15561974984_9fc3f8fd21_z.jpg D-ELXC by IndiaEch...

Antalya
Following my visit to Istanbul (see seperate post), I moved down to Antalya for a few days. One of the first aircraft that i saw soon after arriving was Ifly A330 EI-FBU, but sistership EI-ETI was more photogenic later in my visit:- https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7501/16181978121_2a637dcac5_z.jpg EI...

Re: Istanbul
Thanks for your comments. These photos are taken from the Fly Inn shopping centre by the runway threshold. The upper floor is full of food outlets and has a balcony overlooking the action. I spent the day on the balcony untroubled, albeit I did ensure that I made regular trips to buy a drink from th...

Hi - thanks for posting this set.
Some excellent photos that also demonstrates that Stansted attracts some interesting visitors and isn't just a Ryanair bore fest!

Istanbul
Hi, Here are some photos from a day spent at Istanbul earlier this year. There was never long to wait for a Turkish Airlines 737 - TC-JHU had the best livery, though:- https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7493/15877503617_930a482da0_z.jpg I only saw one of Turkish's A.340:- https://farm8.staticflickr.com/...

Amsterdam in the Summer
Hi, Back in June I spent a day at Amsterdam - here are some photos. A Cargolux 747 paid a brief visit:- https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5608/15784329122_57026576a6_z.jpg LX-OCV by IndiaEcho Photography , on Flickr I was really pleased to see PR-GGZ arrive, presumably for summer lease to Transavia:- h...

Luton
Hi, Some photos from a trip to Luton way back at the beginning of the summer. Visibility was pretty poor when I arrived, making it difficult to make out DHL's D-AEAF in a rather muted 'polar bear' scheme compared to their usual colourful livery:- https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5559/14947444235_f9358...

Van Nuys
Hi, During my recent trip to the US I got to spend a few hours at Van Nuys airport. Here are some photos. The airport bills itself as the busiest airport in the world, and it was rare for something not be be moving:- https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2908/14499468818_919d0e4c99_c.jpg N1882S by IndiaEch...

Re: Dusseldorf 18/7/14
A great set - Dusseldorf has long been one of my favourite airports for both the interesting range of aircraft that visit the airport and the superb facilities to view them.
